Farm-side suppers and cooking gatherings, hosted by our chef in her own farmhouse kitchen. One long table, whatever the field gave us today.
She cooks the way her grandmother argued: loudly, generously, and with far too much ghee. The menu is whatever the farm decided this morning.
Every supper is cooked in her own kitchen, served at her own table, and talked about long after the last plate is wiped clean with bread.
Seven steel cups in one round tin. Nearly every dish in this kitchen starts here. Point at a cup to lift it out.
The lid stays off while she cooks.
Five courses, one long table, no menu in advance. This is a taste of what a night can look like.
Not classes. Gatherings. Aprons on, hands in the dough, and dinner at the end of it.
Lime, mango and chilli, cut, salted and jarred. You take your jars home.
Bhakri, pao and flatbreads off a wood fire, then eaten with everything else on the table.
Pick in the field at five, cook together at six, sit down at eight.
Rain on the roof, a thali with everything on it, and nobody in a hurry to drive home.
The table is long on purpose. You won't know everyone when you sit down.
People ask for it at every supper. She has never once written it down for anyone, and this page is not going to be the first.
Suppers and gatherings are small and fill fast. Message us for the next dates, private tables and farm visits.
